Beading Technique by kaileighblue Beading Technique by kaileighblue
With the implimentation of the new Artisan uh.. catergory and my scanner working, I decided to scan some of my stuff and put it up. But it seems my mom has the jewelry in the car.

So I decided to make something.. Then I go the idea to show others how.

Click for the full thing, it's pretty big.

I was trying this with 0.38 mm wire, but found it didn't curve well at all - do you just use black thread?

Yep. Technically I think it was some kind of beading thread but I know know what. I'm not really that technical about what I use. I just know it was stiffer than sewing thread.

You can thread one part of a closure and tie a few knots, then once you start pulling beads through the thread, hide the short end under the beads by pulling the beads over the thread. Once you have a desired length of the bracelet/necklace you can thread the other end of a closure, tie a few knots to secure it, and weave the remaining thread back through the beads :)
(i do realize its a huge delay since you left the comment but i hope this helps anyways)
